ABOUT Mi LSEA

Michigan Life Science Entrepreneur’s Association (MiLSEA) is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded in 2023 to support local life Science startups in providing critical resources such as funding and mentoring to an underserved community. 

Life Science startups face unprecedented problems (funding, access to resources) in the post-pandemic era. Hence, the supporting ecosystem structures must evolve to meet these challenges. MiLSEA is formed by entrepreneurs who have successfully built teams and commercialized breakthrough technologies. Veteran entrepreneurs create a powerful resource for emerging innovators to navigate these challenging times by providing guidance and leveraging their connections for funding and resources for new entrepreneurs. As leaders of this community, we aim to empower the entrepreneurial community and help lessen the burden on the government.

Our core mission is to preserve, promote, and protect the interests of entrepreneurs in the life science and technology sectors by providing a comprehensive non-profit entrepreneurship program for community benefit. Through mentorship, resources, publications, and impactful events, we aim to foster innovation, drive economic growth, and create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Michigan. Our value proposition is entrepreneurs guiding entrepreneurs solve unmet medical needs.
